There will be twelve months in this calendar year: Muharram, Safar, Rabi al-Awwal, Rabi al-Thani, Jumada al-Ula, Jumada al-Akhira, Rajab, Sha'aban, Ramadan, Shawwal, Dhu al-Qi'dah, and Dhu al-Hijjah. The months of the
islamic calendar are not synchronised with the Gregorian calendar because the Islamic calendar is shorter than the Gregorian calendar.
