The
Surah Isra (The Night Journey), also known as Surah Bani Israil, is the seventeenth chapter of the Qur’an. It is the longest surah of the Quran, containing 111 verses. The surah is named after the miraculous night journey (Isra) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Makkah to Jerusalem, which is described in verse 1. The surah concludes by reminding of the great rewards that await those who believe in Allah and do righteous deeds. It is a reminder to all of us to strive for the best in this life and the hereafter.
